Randy Granger in concert in Hillsboro, NM

Randy Granger in concert at Hillsboro Community Center Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 3 p.m.

One half of the "AN ILIAD" and "KILLING BUDDHA" duo, Native American flute player and singer-songwriter Randy Granger performs a return concert in Hillsboro at the Hillsboro Community Center. Granger is an award-winning recording and touring artist from Las Cruces. His music is heard on NPR, PBS, Hearts of Space, Sirius Soundscapes, Pandora and stations worldwide. Described as "Southwest World" his music is also said to be healing. He has volunteered in hospice for over ten years playing his music for patients and their loved ones as well as staff. He also plays for Alzheimers and other dementia patients and in assisted living care facilities as a volunteer.

Granger is a full-time musician and tours the United States performing and offering workshops. He is also a spiritual teacher, speaker and minister. His ancestry includes Mayan and Apache.

The concert begins at 3:00 p.m.
